The hairs on her legs were remarkable. And to watch her spin her web...what a treat.
The two front legs seemed to do most of the pulling-her-along work, while the remaining four legs did a combination of pulling more thread out of her...thorax, I guess it's called...and keeping the already spun web strands apart from one another. Absolutely remarkable, what a spider can do. It's a very humbling thing to watch.
At any rate, it's a basic shot of a spider...with hairy legs. I prefer yesterday's shot from a composition perspective, but I do like the detail on the legs in this one.
