Over the next few days I'll be putting up a series of arachnid images of the same female spider. I assume she's female cause she's HUGE. I don't mean that in any "weight" kind of way!! I just mean female spiders are generally larger than their male counterparts...you know, cause of the whole she-eats-the-guy-after-they-make-hoochy-in-the-back-room thing. I happened to come across her as she began spinning her web, then returned after nightfall with flashlight in tow.
I think this image is the most conventional of the series, but I'm curious to know what you think as the shots go up over the next few days.
