I don't know what kind of bug it is. It would be très cool to search the internet based on image. Upload an image to Google (or, better yet, right-click an image then click "Search") and Presto! C'mon Google! Give us a way to search by image! And you call yourself a search engine. Sheesh.
Update: my buddy Steve told me it's a mayfly. He sent me a link to some site; sure enough, he's right. Who needs Google when you got Steve?
