I took this doing 65+ on the freeway going home from work. This time I wasn't driving.
It's a two-thirds crop of a larger shot taken in portrait orientation. These hills are covered with mustard flowers at this time of year, and the contrast against the high tension pylons always catches my eye. Most of the time shots taken while driving are a piece du merde. But once in a while a surprise pops up. This was one. There's something about that little tree next to the huge pylon that makes it look so miserably sad. It even seems to be turning its head away in shame.
