I took a trip up to the Bay Area a week ago, and met up with several fellow photographers, each of whom I'll be posting a photo over the next several days.

I took this shot outside the Bambuddha Lounge on Eddy Street in San Francisco. Jarrett Gorin (of gorin-images) suggested we have dinner at the Lounge because his sister Jessica Gorin is the Executive Chef. We had a great evening telling stories over drinks and terrific food prepared by Jessica.
I invited my friends CJ, Steve & Lauretta all of whom live in San Francisco. A funny thing happened when Steve and Lauretta sat down at our table.
Jarrett took one look at Steve and says, "What's your last name?"
Steve says, "Komlos."
Jarrett: "Are you from Houston?"
Steve: "Uh...yes."
Jarrett: "I know you!"
Steve (as the coin drops): "Ohmigod..."
Turns out they both grew up in Houston and knew each other in grade school or middle school or something like that.
