"My mom has always been the most inspirational person in my life. Of all the people that have greatly influenced, encouraged and mentored me, my mom embodies them all. She has been both mother and friend, always there to talk, to listen and to experience life with me. Over the years I've been increasingly in awe at the way the Lord has used her in my life, in my children’s life as grandma, and in the lives of so many others. She is gifted with a warm spirit of love in such a way that attracts people of all ages and ethnicities, especially children and the elderly people. I am truly blessed to have had her as an influence in my life. As she looks forward to her 70th birthday on April 12, I am joyful beyond measure to celebrate the birth and life of such a fabulous lady, my mom Mary!"
